PURPOSE: Perform preventative maintenance and repair work on all accessory equipment and robots in the Molding Department.
Troubleshoot existing equipment.
Update existing equipment.
Help train employees to work on equipment, especially robotic equipment.
Perform all duties as directed by the Automation Manager.
Size change equipment.
Repair accessory and robotic equipment.
Responsible for all guards and chutes under the mold to keep all parts on the conveyor.
Maintain high level of housekeeping in and around work area.
Pager responsibilities for on call
Perform any other duties as established by the Automation Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with product safety guidelines
High school diploma or equivalent.
Show the ability to learn Robotics and/or automation experience.
Show the ability to learn to read blueprints.
Self- starter with eagerness to learn and take initiative.
Show the ability to learn to Read and understand wiring diagrams.
Show the ability to be learning to troubleshoot pneumatic circuits, AC or DC circuits and motors.
Show the ability to learn to Operate lathe, mill, drill press, surface grinder and power tools.
Show the ability to learn to Properly use and read rulers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
Show the ability to learn to Weld using stick, MIG and TIG processes.
Show the ability to learn to Use oxyacetylene torch.
- Must have a minimum of two years of machine maintenance experience.
- Obtain towmotor,Crane Safety, Powered man lift certifications / licenses
